New Moon & Serpent - they show graphics incorrectly on www

Try disabling color management in New Moon/Serpent (if possible). In Firefox, this is done by setting gfx.color_management.mode to 0, I don't know how to do that on New Moon/Serpent.
These browsers may use different image decoding libraries (libpng, libjpeg, etc.) or have different settings. On XP, hardware acceleration and color management APIs are limited, potentially causing fallback to buggy software rendering - that could be another reason.
Maybe try a 3rd browser and see if it works to rule out API problems.
Also, preferably use Supermium or Pale Moon, as they are A LOT less vulnerable to malware sites and attacks.
If you have to use either Standard Firefox 52.9 ESR or New Moon and Serpent, use Firefox.

I am aiming at having one basic browser -> Pale Moon (but not to liquidate Firefox, you know...), but: side browser -> Serpent and when nothing helps -> supermium.

Understandable! Glad I helped! Pale Moon is great, I use it on my modern OS for spying apps like YouTube. Agree, Supermium is kinda slow, Pale Moon significantly faster.

I like using jDownloader but man, that thing has almost 5,000 files in the Program Files folder, and it likes to update twice a week, so I run it from a ramdrive.

Mówi mi, że nie ma standardowego profilu na Windowsa XP, jest zależny od monitora itd. Znajduje się tutaj C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\color , o czym z resztą już na pewno wiesz, w końcu to zmieniałeś.
