Hello Forum, Are the motherboard drivers stored on the hard drive? I think that they are, however I would like to get confirmation of that. A few years ago I built my own PC, installed XP SP3 and then the drivers from the motherboard's supplied DVD. I want to swap drives, back and forth, between XP and Windows 7. I have already installed 7, on a new SSD. I haven't as yet installed the motherboard's drivers from the DVD onto 7. Will doing so, affect my motherboard's XP driver set up? Regards to all, Moonsky.
