@WindowsXPforever : sir, i would make them with 'Windows Updates' & 'Microsoft Updates' after installation. The other way is slip streaming Updates in iso with nlite before installation and save resources.

Sir, I would use the traditional way ''Check for updates'' in "Windows Updates" ( the sources are of course Microsoft Servers ! ). It will update your system to the last point when actually the updates were stopped. I think It doesn't need using the old dangerous IE and you can safely disable it and made the updates as in windows later versions. I would make a list of them and the next time i would use nlite & slipstream those updates in the original iso before installation !

I don,t think XP is abandonware and Microsoft released the code to the public. Only Microsoft Knows the source code.How security updates for windows xp are made?
