Help with windows xp!

Yes I am recently on windows 10 for my windows but how ever I want to re install windows xp back on my pc but when I do re install it stops at the windows sett up screen for some odd reason can this be fixed and how is it possible I have to remove any thing to make windows xp to continue installing or do I have to format the whole drive and erase windows 10 first be for I re install windows xp on my computer ?
 
make, model, model number of pc?
laptop or desktop?
original version of windows that came with the pc?
before a clean install of any OS, you must do a full format
type of media you are using to install xp, (cd, usb, dvd..etc.) ?

I have windows xp on this pc be for its just been a wile since I have windows 10 on the machine but I would like to go back to windows xp but when I do it gets stuck at the windows xp sett up screen area.
 
a blank DVD??

how do you expect to install xp without an install OS on the media

do you have sata drives??

have you used this exact dvd to install xp before?

xp will not install on a sata drive without sata controllers slipstreamed onto the install media.

1. did you change the bios to boot from dvd?
2. which setup screen is it stuck at
3. are you using a ps2 keyboard or a usb or a wifi keyboard?
4. is the cursor stuck or the arrows on keyboard not moving?
