Automatic Updates (not working!?!??!)

Since i setted to set to download updates everyday at 3pm (because im avalable at that time) and it doesnt seem to download updates.And i need to manually to search and install updates
Since i get MSE updates everyday (but they dont auto download from ms update! )
Any help?

any errors in event viewer for this issue

Only Background Intelligence was setted to manual so i setted it to automatic.Still.But others updates like Net framework or security updates for posready comes only mse doesnt come

not sure, I do not have posready and my automatic update service is disabled, there are fixes for xp to fix microsoft updates but am not sure these will work for xp posready

read through several threads above and there is one for posready from MSFN that might be the one to read all the way through.
