don't know how many systems I have 'built' over the last thirty years, but, I can remember buying four.
A year or so ago, three systems died of much use and simple old age. I looked around and couldn't find much support for another XP system, but, MSI (who made one of the now-garbage recently deceased systems) offered a motherboard/processor package
that was advertised as a 'legacy-UEFI' system. Sounded good, but, so far it has proven impossible.
it readily accepted a new win10 installation which has grown steadily more grievous as time passes by.
I DO NOT want internet capability and therefore am unconcerned about all the protective measures assumed necessary. I want to
get back to XP and far away from win7-8-10,ect.
Haven't checked every plea for help, but, it doesn't look too bad so far.
