Video Plays in IE but not in Firefox

Hello,
I created a video on windows movie maker showing still pictures of some work.
I
then placed the video into my website on computer, using front page 2002 and
previewed it in browser. It works grand in IE, but not in Firefox. Is it the
format of the video that is the problem and if so what format should i use,
otherwise if you have any other solutions please help

it will be much
appreciated.
