Hello everyone,

I have a number of homemade compilation audio cd's given to me over the
years by family/friends. A fair number of the tracks on these discs are
untitled/mis-titled. Does anyone know of an application that will play these
tracks and correctly name/title them? A free program would just the ticket.

Thanks,

Curt.

See this :

Then this for some ideas (Google and you'll find the players mentionned :

Good luck. BTW, once the CD's are burned you can't alter them.

So you will have to rip the tracks (use AudioGrabber, its freeware) and then
re-burn on a fresh CD taking care to add the CD text that you want to each
track. Even then, its not sure that your player will be able to read or see
the text.

Cheers,
Jerry

Some interesting info at the sites, but found nothing I could use. I'm aware
finalized cd's cannot be changed....just looking for a way to identify the
audio files on the disc's.

Thanks,

Curt.

You can't. If the CD's are burned WITHOUT the text info, then nothing on
this earth can read what isn't there ;-)))

WMP will search an on-line data base if you use it ..... but its never 100%
sure that it will find the respective title(s).

The CD's need to be re-burnt using CD text.

Cheers,
Jerry
