Long shot but try this first.
Click on Start, click on Run and type the following in the textbox:
REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
and press the Enter key
Note that there is a space between ...32 and SHI...
This will take a second to run and then try to open a photo again.
If this fails, try two other free viewers after you download and install
them:
www.irfanview.com
www.faststone.org
If you get the same "drawing failed" message I would suspect corrupted
files.
You may be able to recover them from your camera card, even if you erased
them by using:
