    There is a wireless connection on my PC that does not work.
    However, it is not listed in the ' Wireless Network Connection Properties' dialog box.

    How is it removed?

    Is it listed in Device Manager?

    How would it be listed?

    Under Network adapters, there are two listings;
    Atheros **** Ethernet Controller,
    Atheros **** Wireless Network Adapter.

    There are 3 yellow question marks;
    Unknown device,
    Video Controller,
    Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

    ◦Click on “Start” and right click on “Computer”.
    ◦Click on “Manage”.
    ◦Click on “Device Manager”.
    ◦Under “Network adapters”, you will find the wireless driver listed.
    ◦Right click on it and click on “uninstall”. (Check and make a note of the driver installed on your system , version etc. so you can download and reinstall

    but it says wireless in your list!!

    1. did it suddenly stop working?

    2. did you do a system restore to a point where it was working?

    3. did you install anything new?
