When I restart my wife's Acer Aspire laptop with Windows XP, I receive a message about "Hardware Installation".

[The software you are installing for this hardware - "LegacyDriver" has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.]

Of course, I always "Stop Installation".

    What does it do?

    Should I use it?

If not, what do I have to do to get rid of the installation file altogether?

    Thanks for any help.
