Asus P8Z77-V LX SM BUS CONTROLLER?

I am having an issue with these specs -

Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
Windows XP SP3

All other drivers were downloaded via the Asus site, though two remain.

• SM BUS CONTROLLER
• UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS

I have searched all over the internet though cannot find the SM BUS CONTROLLER for this MOBO
I Installed the MEI & Intel Chipset Driver via the Asus Site and the hardware still is not installed correctly.
I am not concerned about the USB as I know what that is and I do not require it.

Have you tried using Driverpack ? Just don't install what you don't need.

 

I gave up on that particular board I am using parts I have laying around the workshop to build a new system.
I never use that software, full of garbage. Thanks.

 

I use it all the time. And it's usually very precise detecting hardware. All you have to do is uncheck what you don't want to install and believe me it works wonders. I keep the offline version on a pendrive. I save everything to the computer I want to use it on and it's done.
