    I am getting a huge problem since i downgrade my OS to windows xp.... Before this i was running windows 7 in which i was able to play Arms of Revenge. This game requires flash player. On each game launch, the game screen gets black and everything inside the game freezes. any solution?

    macromedia is inherent in an xp install. (hidded folders/application data/user name.)

    -----------------
    seems to play okay for me. xpsp3. I am on firefox.

    1. have you checked device manager to see if any drivers are missing??

    2. if so which ones, make sure to see Hidden drivers also.

    3. run checkdisk with the /r parameter at least twice, (depending on drive size a lengthy process, do not stop pc once checkdisk is running)

    How to perform checkdisk

    if you do not have Recovery Console installed, then run from the start menu

    go to start, run, type in cmd

    in cmd type in chkdsk c: /r and press enter

    type Y for yes and press enter

    type exit and press enter

    restart pc, allow checkdisk to finish and run again
    this is a lengthy process depending on the size of your harddrive, the percentages will fluctuate, this is normal, you can view report in the event viewer.
    go to start>run> and type in eventvwr.msc, click on the applications directory, and in the right hand panel choose winlogon.
    ==============

    read the support article, there are several ways to run checkdisk, the best way is through the recovery console.
