ROGUE ONE not doing well in China

    Basically the entire STAR WARS series had been to obtain inspiration from Eastern ideas. So STAR WARS is this re-packaged Asian ideas meant for Western audiences, and now they're trying to re-sell the work back to the continent where it originated from. Not going to happen...

    And, the story of Anakin and Padme (and all other episodes) didn't come from Japan, but these famous Chinese works:

    Story for Episodes VII-IX actually comes from this (Disney knew full well LucasFilm didn't adapt all of the Asian works yet, which is why they
    paid what they paid when they bought SW IP for billions):

    Know why all the elites in USA want their children to speak fluent Mandarin? Well, imagine what other ideas China (and Japan) will come up with to use for future artistic works or inspiration in the Western hemisphere...

    BTW, it seems to me the top grossing movies in the world did it by getting inspiration from China (and/or the Far East):
