Desktop Wallpaper setting keeps going to 'center'

    No matter what I do, every time I power up, my desktop wallpaper images keep getting changed to 'center'. They are larger than set resolution, & I reset to 'stretch', but comp will not stay with this setting. Is there a registry setting to force this setting always??
