Photoshop 7 on XP Pro installed to Mac Pro

Okay, not sure where to post this long question, but…concerns Photoshop 7.0
I’m about to try and run on XP Pro installed to a new Mac Pro I just bought
but don’t yet have, and which I might have to return.

My Photoshop is for PC, of course, and so I planned to run XP Pro on the new
Mac by way of Fusion for Mac. But I just read that even Photoshop 7.0 for Mac
won’t run on Snow Leopard, which will be my main OS. I think, though maybe
not if I’m running XP along side. I’m not sure about this, nor is anyone at
Apple, apparently.

I read too that Snow Leopard can’t even accommodate Photoshop CS2 or CS3.
CS4 gets pretty pricey, especially after buying a Mac Pro. There’s a limit.

Does anyone know about any issues this way? I know this concerns two
third-parties—Apple and Adobe, but I will be running my current Photoshop on
XP Pro and so am looking for anyone who might know about this here at MS.

I hope to find out before opening the Mac Pro to find out the hard way that
my Photoshop won’t run at all, even on XP Pro installed to a Mac.

Thanks, I have no more info to go on.
