Microsoft Pro Photo Tools crash

Hi,

Just wondering what would cause Microsoft Pro Photo Tools to suddenly
stop working on XP SP3 (with latest updates)? I assume it must be a
conflict with either a third-party application, or a Windows-related
update installed after PPT, but I can't track it down. It used to
work fine, and suddenly it won't start. I'd paste the details of the
crash report if I could, but the problem reporter doesn't allow the
copying of content (?); I'm sure it's also in a crash log in a
temporary file somewhere, but not in Local Settings\Temp. I've tried
uninstalling/reinstalling PPT, running chkdsk (no errors), resetting
IE's security levels, uninstalling Silverlight, removing the font
cache file, disabling anti-virus and anti-malware applications --
these are all the possible remedies I've found so far, but none have
helped. What else can I try?
