Large Icons on Quick Launch Taskbar

I recently had to reformat my hard drive. I like my taskbar running up the right side of the computer screen; however after the reformat, the icons in the Quick Launch bar are now very large. I know there is a way to make them smaller; but I con not remember how to make smaller. Please help
