computer freeze

Hello I Too am suffering from Computer Freeze.
I am not at all Tech minded, but have found out the following:
I have 37.31GB
used - 17.7
free - 20.13
The RAM Memory under task manager is
total - 372732
limit - 558968
peak - 368012

I have Norton Security (including go-back), and run scans regulary, nothing
is ever found!

If you have any advice I would be most grateful.
If you need me to find info, please give me step-by-step instructions

Please have a look in the Event Viewer for any 'Errors'. If any are found
could you please post the Event ID and Source?

Go through these steps to clean Up and scan for malwares and Clear the
unwanted Plug-ins:

1= Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on General Tab (1st Tab on the left) and you will see a Button called
[ Clear History ..] click on it to clear your History caches, then click on
[Delete Files..] to delete Internet Files created over the time, click on [
Delete Cookies...] to delete your cookies left by visiting websites.

= Then try to Disable the Add-Ons on your Browser somehow installed on your
browser, On how to disable the Add-ons follow this:
Click on Programs Tab and then click the Manage Add-Ons Button there Disable
the None/Not Verified Plug-ins/Add-ons ( you can Renable them one-by-one
later and see which is the culprit or you can send them here in your next
post) and click [OK] to confirm your Changes.

Click on Advanced Tab and scroll down under the browsing option and uncheck
this box:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) and click Apply
then Ok to close your IE Properties.

Run a Disk Clean Up Up on your Computer
by Double clicking My Computer and right click your C:\ then select
properties.
On the Drive properties click Disk CleanUp button under general Tab and
Reboot after finished to Safe Mode and Perform a Defrag there.

What is your CPU processor speed? How much RAM memory? Right click on
your My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties to get
this information.

The copy of the Error Report most likely does not relate to your
freezing. Did you look in the Application log?

Do you have a Desktop or Laptop?

What is your CPU processor speed? How much RAM memory? Right click on
your My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties to get
this information.

It opens on the general tab and the info is:

processor 1.30GHZ
1.30ghz 224mb of RAM
